Along the way, you’ll visit historical sites, relax at Aruu Falls, and end your adventure with a cultural tour in Kampala. Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Spend the evening relaxing and settling in, preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

 

Day 2: Journey to Jinja & The Source of the Nile

​

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Jinja, with a stop for lunch in Jinja Town. Afterward, enjoy a boat ride on the Nile River, where you’ll visit the iconic point where the Nile separates from Lake Victoria. This marks the beginning of its long journey through Sudan and Egypt. As you cruise, take in the picturesque surroundings and spot a variety of bird species that inhabit the area.

 

Day 3: Water Rafting & Exploration of Jinja

Following breakfast, we’ll head to Busowoko Falls for an adrenaline-pumping water rafting experience or a visit to the nearby water rapids, depending on your preference. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely lunch in Jinja Town before exploring the vibrant Jinja markets in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to shop for local crafts and souvenirs while soaking in the town's bustling atmosphere.

Day 4: Hiking the Wanale Ridge

​

Today, we’ll travel to Mbale, where we’ll stop for a delightful lunch in Mbale Town. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a hike along the Wanale Ridge, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Afterward, you’ll spend the night in Mbale Town, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the area.

 

Day 5: Sipi Falls & Mountain Elgon National Park

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll drive to Mountain Elgon National Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to hike to the stunning Sipi Falls. This magnificent waterfall, set against a backdrop of lush greenery, will leave you in awe. Enjoy the serenity of the area before returning to your accommodation for a restful evening.

 

Day 6: Nature Walk in Mountain Elgon National Park

This morning, we’ll take a relaxing nature walk through Mountain Elgon National Park, home to a variety of wildlife and birds. The park’s tranquil atmosphere and diverse ecosystems provide an incredible opportunity to connect with nature and observe the rich biodiversity of the region.

 

Day 7: Scenic Drive to Kidepo National ParkToday,

​

we’ll embark on a long but scenic 6-hour drive to Kidepo National Park, Uganda’s most remote and untouched wilderness area. Along the way, enjoy the vast landscapes of the north, with plenty of opportunities to take in the beauty of the countryside. We’ll stop for an overnight stay in Gulu Town, a bustling hub in northern Uganda.

 

Day 8: Game Drive & Cultural Experience

In the morning, enjoy a thrilling game drive around the Kanangorok Hot Springs area of Kidepo National Park. Here, you may spot rare ostriches, as well as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. There’s also a chance to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Afterward, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to the Karamojong Cultural Village, where you can learn about the unique traditions and lifestyle of the Karamojong people.

 

Day 9: Historical Sites & Aruu Falls

The day begins with a visit to the Bakars Fort or Patiko, historical sites that tell the story of Uganda’s past. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Aruu Falls, a beautiful and tranquil spot perfect for relaxation. After a day of exploration, we’ll return to Gulu Town for an overnight stay.

 

Day 10: Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Return to Kampala

​

Start the day with a visit to the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll have the rare chance to see Uganda’s white rhinos up close. Afterward, we’ll begin the journey back to Kampala, where you’ll enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your journey.

 

Day 11: Cultural Tour & Departure

​

After breakfast, explore some of Kampala’s most famous cultural landmarks, including Kabaka’s Palace and the Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, you’ll have some time for crafts shopping at a local market, where you can pick up some unique souvenirs to remember your trip. In the evening, we’ll transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of a memorable adventure.
